Information for tourists and visitors.

The public libraries are open for everybody, and the services are free of charge.

You may:

  1. borrow books, CD's, DVD's and other materials
  2. use the Internet
  3. read newspapers and magazines
  4. get information

 

How to use Langeland Library?

If you wish to borrow materials, we will issue a library card, and for that purpose you have to show a valid ID, such as passport or drivers license. If you have got a danish health insurance card, you can use this as a library card.

If you just want to use the free computers, wifi or read the newspapers on PressReader, you can get a tourist-card at The tourist Office.

Library Catalogue.

You can search Langeland Library Catalogue (Danish version) from the top of this page to find and order materials held by Langeland Library. You need a four digit pincode with your library card to order materials in Langeland Library Catalogue.
You can also order materials on www.bibliotek.dk (national catalogue, English version), where you can find a much wider range of materials. You need to have a library card issued by Langeland Library to order materials from www.bibliotek.dk to be delivered to and fetched at the Mainlibrary or the Mobile Library.
